Who TOLD?
Olga Bogdan writes novels, screenplays and short stories.
She has published three novels to date: the coming of age story with elements of magic realism, HELENA, the violent female-led homage to Spaghetti Westerns, IGOR, and the contemporary thriller romance about a good deed gone bad, A PSYCHOPATH’S GUIDE TO GIRLS.
The main protagonists in her books are young people in search of identity and purpose in the world that doesn’t make sense. As they soldier on, they tell their respective stories with radical honesty and heroic swagger.
Olga grew up in a small town in the former Yugoslavia, where she tried her very best to keep her nose in a book and out of trouble. This didn’t work out all that well, so she packed up her bags and took off in search of everything and nothing in particular. Currently residing in the UK, her search is far from over.
A committed fan of visual storytelling, too, Olga has compiled a collection of pinball-style notes on films & TV shows. And, for the first time ever, she was not writing alone.
